Covid-19 Policies and Agreements
Due to an increase in Covid-19 cases and hospitalizations, masks must be worn by all adults and children over three at any in-person sessions.
I will work with clients who are vaccinated or unvaccinated. Please cancel your session if you or a member of your household has tested positive for Covid-19 within the two weeks prior to your session or you have been exposed to an individual with Covid-19 within the two weeks prior to your session.
It is with great trust and integrity that we will work together to keep each other and our loved ones safe and healthy during this time.
Sessions at my studio are currently available for the following clients:
-
Those who are twelve+ weeks in pregnancy
-
Those who are in the first 12 months postpartum
-
Those who have experienced pregnancy or infant loss
-
Families seeking one-on-one bodywork and infant massage instruction for their infant who is four weeks to nine months
Home visits are available for families whose babies are birth to six weeks.
Virtual sessions are available for personal and professional mentorship clients. In-person sessions are available if agreed upon by both yself and the mentee. Unless sessions are held outdoors, masks will be required.
TummyTime! classes will meet virtually through 2021 unless otherwise noted.
Booking your session:
Due to COVID-19, the number of daily appointments I am offering is limited. The health and safety of clients is important to me. Booking options are limited and will be done via phone, email or text.
If you are experiencing a fever, cough, or sore throat on the day of your session, please reschedule your appointment for when you are no longer symptomatic. My policy has never been to charge for last minute cancellations or no shows. I trust that we will each take responsibility for our wellness and the health and safety of each other by cancelling your appointment if either of us is symptomatic. If you have been to a COVID-19 impacted area or large group event, I ask that you reschedule your appointment for 14 days past the date of contact. In order to schedule you must confirm the following:
-
You, and all of your household members have not experienced fever, fatigue, dry cough or difficulty breathing within the last 14 days.
-
You, as well as all household members, have not knowingly been exposed to anyone diagnosed with COVID-19 within the past 30 days.
-
You, as well as household members, have not been diagnosed with COVID-19 within the past 30 days.
-
You and all of your household members have not traveled outside the country or to any city considered to be a “hot spot” for COVID-19 infections within the past 30 days.
-
You are able and willing to wear a mask from the time you enter Flora Massage and Wellness Services until the time you leave. If you are unable to do so, you are willing to discuss this at the time of scheduling.
Sanitation:
Sanitation at Flora Massage and Wellness Services has always been important. Below is a list of additional procedures that are being implemented to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
-
Masks will be worn by both client and myself
-
Additional time included between appointments to prevent client contact with each other.
-
Guests accompanying those scheduled for services are discouraged.
-
All surfaces will be wiped thoroughly with disinfectant before and after each client.
-
UV light treatment to the session room will be implemented after each session in the session.
Follow-up Sessions:
I’ll continue to offer all clients resources and “homework” after your initial session. From there we can decide what options are best for you on your wellness journey. Virtual visits, small group classes and support groups and in person sessions are all options.
